The successful collaboration between SumDU and Umeå University (Sweden) is not only continuing, but also gaining momentum. Despite the COVID-19 pandemic, which continues to create an unfavorable background for international cooperation, the head of the Ukrainian-Swedish Research Center SUMEYA Dr. Roman Moskalenko in August 2021 participated in joint research directly on the laboratory of the research group of Prof. Thomas Boren at the University of Umeå. After several years of hard and painstaking work, the joint scientific publication is already reaching the final stage!
Another representative of the Ukrainian-Swedish Research Center SUMEYA, Dr. Artem Piddubny, works fruitfully in the team of prof. Thomas Boren as a postdoc (one of the first examples of obtaining an official postdoc position at SumDU Medical Institute!) for almost a year. Being part of a partner team promotes close and effective cooperation between SUMEYA and the Swedish side.
